Elish
Co-director of The Marlowe Clinic and the pharmacist behind its skin health approach, Elish brings two decades of clinical pharmacy to aesthetic skincare. She qualified in 2004 with a Master’s in Pharmacy, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Pharmacy — a deep understanding of how ingredients work, how they interact with skin, and why so many do not deliver what the packaging promises.
Officially trained by Obagi, ZO Skin Health, Medik8 and other medical-grade skincare brands, Elish specialises in prescription-strength skincare and in-clinic regenerative treatments that improve skin quality rather than change the face. Her focus is skin health, not surface correction: skin that functions well, ages well, and needs less over time.
Her understanding of pigmentation and ageing skin is also personal. With an Irish father and an Arab mother, she has always pigmented easily — and like most women, has watched her own tone and texture change with age. It is why patients find her so easy to talk to. She listens first, never rushes, and never assumes the concern you walked in with is the whole story.
Known online as The Skin Pharmacist, she is warm, direct, and genuinely enjoys explaining what products can and cannot do at every stage of skin’s life. Patients see her in Durham or consult online, from anywhere in the country.
Dr Claire
With a strong foundation as a GP and advanced training in aesthetics under the guidance of Dr Raph, Dr Claire brings clinical precision and a calm, compassionate approach to every treatment. Based in Swansea, she combines medical knowledge with an artistic eye to deliver subtle, natural results tailored to each individual.
Her aesthetic work is underpinned by ethical care and a deep respect for each patient’s individuality — values at the heart of The Marlowe Clinic’s philosophy. From advanced injectables to skin rejuvenation, Dr Claire prioritises safety, trust, and subtlety at every stage of the journey.
Alongside aesthetics, she also runs a dedicated Menopause Clinic, supporting women through one of the most significant transitions of their lives. Her background as a GP gives her the insight and experience to address both the physical and emotional changes that come with perimenopause and menopause from hormone health to skin concerns and confidence.
